Javier Galán Hurtado (Badajoz, 1995) develops his work fundamentally through a pictorial practice and a relationship with objects and their memory. He is interested in ideas of sedimentation and narration as ways of constructing and relating images. His practice also engages with the idea of landscape, understood from a broad perspective, as a starting point for constructing the pictorial image and approaching the territory beyond its superficial dimension.
